Kuhlmann ATEX IBC Heater
The ATEX IBC Heater series is a highly reliable and safe solution for heating Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) in the temperature range from -40°C to +180°C /+200°C (steel IBC-Container), +80°C (plastic IBC-container). The heating jacket is designed to fit the dimensions of a standard IBC-Container enabling highly efficient and effective heating. The ATEX IBC Heater series is suitable for use in various industries, including oil & gas, chemical, and pharmaceuticals.
The ATEX IBC Heater series is available for use with different types and manufacturers of e.g. 1000-liter IBC containers. The insulating lid may be used additionally. The heater is robust, flexible, and dissipative, making it suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The heater has a protection class of IP65/I, which means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. The heater is system-approved with an EC-type examination certificate according to RL 2014/34/EU appendix III. Additionally, the heater is delivered fully configured and ready to use without further acceptance procedures.
The ATEX IBC Heater series comes in various nominal voltages, capacities, nominal powers, and dimensions. It can be used for temperature classes T6, T5, T4, and T3 depending on the temperature setting of the limiter.. The ATEX IBC Heater series is also designed to be used with an ATEX controller that can be purchased separately from us or can be integrated with the customer's own controller system.
