Kuhlmann floor thawing mats are designed for thawing floor surfaces and can be used in a variety of ways.

In winter and cold temperatures, contractors and construction workers who need to thaw frozen floors or surfaces use our electric floor thawing blankets. The blankets are insulated from above and only radiate heat downwards. Our thawing blankets are made of durable, waterproof and weatherproof materials and can withstand just about any conditions.

With the Floor Thaw Heating Blanket, you can easily thaw frozen ground and frozen pipes, melt ice and snow, thaw frozen pipes, and use the blankets as frost protection for piping and other freeze-prone equipment.

Use the mats for curing purposes as they also work as curing mats for such things as bridge decks, newly laid brick or block walls, precast, masonry walls, concrete, decorative concrete and more.

Our de-icing mats are supplied with either a 2 metre Schuko power cable or a 2 metre industrial plug. Both mats have a built-in bimetal thermostat with an automatic temperature of 70°C.

Installation is very easy and after the job is done, repacking is no problem either. Simply roll out the mat on the surface you want to work on. Plug in the power cable and you have a safely thawed surface in front of you. When the surface is frost-free, unplug the power cord and roll up the mat.
